Creating rubber accessories

does anyone have any good tips for creating rubber accessories? id imagine you start with a sculpt, make a mold with plaster, then cast in rubber, but idk what rubber to use or where to purchase. help!

You can make silicone molds, and use a urethane rubber like VytaFlex from Smooth On.

Didn't know you could do a soft casting from a soft mold; in the model shop we were strictly hard to soft and vice versa...
