For those of you still into Spawn....12" Curse of the Spawn statue goes up for PO 08-18-2012. $185.00

Looks pretty good...but who knows what kind of quality TMP puts out these days, I don't trust them myself but whatever.

Of course...it's signed by TODD himself....whoopee!

Nah, that ship has kind of sailed for me. I read the book still (it's actually not a bad read these days) & I still have my Spawn collection. But I lurk mostly these days & post here occasionally. That's about it...too busy.

But if you wouldn't mind, post some links & maybe I'll pay a visit & see what going on with some of the old timers, thanks!

I was able to snag one of the AP's. I figured I'd try for it just for the fun of it and it worked out.

The PO page says there's unique paint variations for each international territory. I'd like to see all the variations.
I read the pre-order policy but it doesn't mention anything about if you want to cancel your pre-order. Anyone have experience with spawn online store? Can you cancel your PO without having to pay a fee?

Btw the statue looks sick! Is 13.5" 1/6 or 1:5?

The paint variants are simply the highlight color on the base. I believe either red, green, or blue.

Australia / NZ version (green highlighted base) -

Europe will have blue highlights. Also, based on the updated photos, Spawn will not be blood-spattered as in the above pic (which I think was a smart move)

The toy of this design was my one Spawn figure. I got it for a dollar at an arcade show around here. But this... this is much nicer. I think I'l pass, Sideshow is showing too much stuff for early next year for me to get a character I don't even keep up with.

The figure turned out great! The base is huge (and heavy!), but he's meant to be stood a bit turned so he faces towards you.
The base, box and print are all numbered. The box is multi-language, and has room for the edition sizes at the bottom. All four editions are listed. The artist proof (50), USA (500), Europe (275) and Australia (150), and are colored according to the color of the base. Since I have the European version, the base on mine has a blue finish.
