What do you do when you no one makes a figure of the main character from your favourite TV show?
You make your own...
I'm a huge fan of the TV series "Hannibal", with Danish actor Mads Mikkelsen playing the lead role.
After months of extensive research, I located a custom sculpted head by a company called "Eleven", a Pop Toys suit and a CM Toys single sofa.
It took me about an hour to put this figure together, but the end result is outstanding.
I'll be tweaking this figure over the coming weeks and will be adding a custom Jack Crawford (Laurence Fishburne) figure to the display very soon...

Very clean job! Haven't watched the show, but the figure looks great. I'd prob add socks tho if you're going to pose him like that.

Ha ha...yeah...the socks, unfortunately, weren't included with the suit.

Ordered some today, and a few skulls to decorate the shelf...

Love the chair and kitbash. Might need to get a chair like that for my display. I bashed both characters a little while back...can't wait for the new season!

After some exhaustive research, I managed to find a link to the exact table and chairs purchased by the Hannibal set decorators for his dining room.

I sent pictures and exact measurements to a specialist 1:6 scale furniture maker in Russia.

In less than 5 days, they've managed to create an exact (albeit cut down) version of the furniture. It will seat five 1:6 figures as opposed to ten.

I've also tracked down some 1:6 scale cutlery, tableware bottles etc...to use for the diorama I'm about to build.

I'll keep you updated on the progress...

i'd love to know how much the dinning set will cost because I would also like to have that type of dio...can't wait to see it!!!..:)

great pose! I love that eleven head sculpt, its absolutely beautiful. Im anxiously awaiting someone to commission a suit from this.

I've hit a bit of a snag with the Jack Crawford figure.

The Hot Toys Noland figure I purchased to kit bash is just too big for the suit I want to use.

Pants won't fit and the shirt and jacket are stretched to the limit.

Plus, he only came with one pair of ungloved fists and no actual "feet" to put inside the shoes that came with the suit.

I'm looking for some suggestions on finding and buying a suit that will fit the larger bodies (I've already spent hours looking online today and have contacted several toy outlets for suggestions). I have another couple of ideas, but this involves me purchasing rather expensive figures to steal their clothing.

My Hannibal figure will be complete once the suit for him comes in. :D

I would think that you should just buy a slim body and pad the body rather than trying to buy bigger clothes or stretching the old ones on the muscle body. That's what I would do, anyway.

Quick update photo.

I'm waiting on some new hands, feet and socks for Jack Crawford.

Managed to make the suit fit (as well as possible).

A little clever futzing will hide the small issues.

Table and chair set has been sent.

Skulls arrived today.

Will be starting the rest of the dio pieces soon.

Here's an updated pic of my Hannibal display.

It took some serious research to find pictures and diagrams of the exact furniture used in Hannibal's dining room, but I managed to do it.

I got in touch with an amazing miniature furniture maker in Russia and had them put this together for me.

This is custom made and one of a kind.

The table's length and width is modified to fit inside a Detolf, however the design remains the same. The chairs are exact replicas.

It's impossible to find a suit to fit the Crawford (Fishburne) figure so the overcoat is doing a good job of hiding his tight fitting (and undone) pants and lack of suit jacket.

I had to order separate hands for the Hannibal and Crawford figures as well as socks for each.

The cutlery, plates, bottles etc are from an old Barbie playset that I bought on eBay.

The skulls came from ACI Toys.

My aim is to make an even bigger diorama to be displayed inside a Besta, but this will do for now.

Would love to know your thoughts...

Very impressive set up! The table and chairs look fantastic!

I would remove the skulls though. I think their cartoony sculpt only takes away from your display. A more subtle hint of Hannibal's menu might be better.

AMAZING!!! Does this Russian fellow have a facebook to do commissions? I'd like to get that set for myself and a few others too!!!
