Hey people,

project just got bigger: going to repaint his chest and helmet (helmets already done completely) to be screen accurate as possible,

here's progress pics of the armor, still need to add the orange/yellowish damage and mess it up a bit with a darker color green. Also will paint the belt, and the gun more screen accurate, AND am planning on selling it IF there is interest in it. :) Going to make myself a second one if someone wants to have this when it's completed.

All scratches are correctly shaped and positioned, as far as the reference pics go I've used.

Hey people, question, does anyone know if boba's armor is cast in the plastic color and the damage is the only thing painted on? Or is he fully painted, because I'm afraid to remove the damage paint and paint it better myself if it's a painted piece wholly. :)

Boba and Joker side by side is an unlikely yet epic shot. Love it. I haven't seen the original enough times to see the changes, but you did a great job making it "subtle," meaning it doesn't look overdone which a lot of repaints in my eyes do.

That looks amazing, the figure is great but the lack of weathering out of the box makes it look not quite right. I especially love what you did with the cape. :rock

and some other pics with different angles, Will definatly "upgrade" his weathering on the other armor pieces as well as soon as I figure the best way out to do it, and repaint the belt so it's not just one color brown, but add some lighter browns on it :D

Anyone know where to find the flaps he has on his feet in the films? Dont know what they're called.

Im not sure of the proper name either...I've always referred to them as "spats". You can occasionally find Marmit ones loose on figures that have been broken down. May have to look for awhile though.

Since this is an ESB Boba Fett, you don't need the spats. Those showed up for the ROTJ armor. The photo you have in your first post is odd for a couple reasons:

A) His chest armor is fused together and not individual pieces.

B) His knee armor is on upside down.

C) The cuffs of his pants are rolled up at the bottom instead of having a strip of cloth (same color as the flightsuit) wrapped around the ankle. I'm pretty sure the Medi figure came with the correct strips for this version of Boba.

If you have any more questions regarding the ESB Boba Fett armor, feel free to ask or visit www.thedentedhelmet.com!
