Hi.
I'm thinking of doing a custom / kit bash figure from one of my favourite films, Falling Down with Michael Douglas.

This classic face made by Michael would be the most movie accurate.

Sadly im not a sculptor myself, do you guys know where i can get this done?

Theres lots fo cool poses in the movie, but the one im going for is the classic one used for the poster and cover art. Featuring a Remington 870 and his attache case.

A later goal is to get a bag and fill it with movie accurate weapons such as the TEC 9, Uzi, MAC-10 etc...

Great movie i would certainly be interested if you manage to get a sculptor

hehe i don't mind getting him as william as well... i quite like the movie also...:D

but a gordon will be my centerpiece..hehe..

I would love any sculpt that I could use for Romancing the Stone (just needing a hair redo).

Of course then I would have to commission or sculpt Kathleen Turner myself....

MEH, that's looks pretty awful TBH, I'd be on board for a QUALITY sculpted head.

the listing doesn't even spell his name right (spelled it differently twice and got it wrong both times!) so it makes sense that there wasn't much attention to detail when making this custom. i'm sure it's an awesome "Mcheal Doglass" figure though :lol

Wasn't really posting it for you guys. I was posting it for cybervillain

From a sculpting perspective, the sculpt is pretty good. If you don't think so, download the photo of the face and grey scale it. It's a good sculpt but the expression has a surprised/shocked look--- like Gordon seeing his stocks tank.

The problem is the paint ops are off: the figure should be lighter and pinker. The colors are too "heavy" and don't allow enough contrast. It's a pretty easy fix by applying "wash" to lighten things and neutralize the yellow ochre color (that'll make it look less brown and more tan). Then a burnt sienna wash to neutralize the raw sienna (that'll make the sculpt look even less brown and more Caucasian). Then create some high lights with a light flesh and white mix. To get rid of the shock look (which I like) a simple repaint of the eyes should do it...

Mike

If we are a bunch that want this done maybe a sculptor would like to do it for us? I would love to have a Falling down figure in my collection.

Those glasses looks like a open frame version of Rayban Wayfares, which are pretty iconic sunglasses, maybe those are available in 1/6 scale?
