Has anyone ever tried to customise this rotocast 12" Doc Ock into a more realistic/better looking figure? It seems like a good start...

i remember someone on here customizing theirs with a better coat and led lights in the tentacles. im having trouble finding it now though.

There was also a 12" Doc Oc release with the Marvel Studio's body. I bought a two pack with him and spidey a few years back. The Doc had a 2 layer trench coat, and the body harness could be removed(which I did,) to use a better base body(which I haven't got around to yet, lol). He had some shiney black combat pants and black boots. The hands were also black gloves like the Punisher.
I think the roto cast head was the same, but mine had removable sunglasses.

Wow, I cannot find any pic's of that figure. I know it exists, here is a pic of the Spidey from the same set, but no mention of the Doc Oc anywhere.... I'll keep trying

Do you own the figure? If so, could you take some pics of it yourself? I can't seem to find any on the net either

I own the figure, ( He has donated much of his body parts to other projects) I'll
go put together what's left and see if I can get the picture soon. All I have left of the Spidey is the costume, rubber mask, hands and HS.
All that is left of Doc Oc is the chest rig&arms, trenchcoat (minus sleeves..working on a sabertooth bash) and HS.

I've still got them and the body harness (which was designed to go over a marvel studio's body). I was thinking of making a custom with it, but the arms are a little on the short side. I've been combing the 2nd hand shops looking for the roto cast version in hopes of finding the arms to lengthen them.
The big problem,(and why I didn't keep the figure together) was the arms barely came around the front of the figure, which looked rather silly. I'd like to make a version with maybe a black leather trenchcoat, maybe a little more meaner looking Doc.

Yup, that's the set! Definately a steal if you can still get them, just for the parts.
I think the reason the arms were so short was because of the limitations of the bendy material, you lose a lot of length when you start wrapping then forward around the body. But if you had the roto's arms too (they look about the same diameter) you could cut and attach more length.

I received my Rotocast Doc Ock yesterday, so I'll start the customising process soon and will update with pics asap...
