Hi All

i'm putting together a list of the parts that I will need to make some custom figures

the reason i'm putting the list up here and not on a notepad at home is because i'd love it if folk could share their input or advise on where to get particular pieces, or even advise of there's anything i'm missing

so, here goes, the 3 figures i want to make are;

Nick Fury (Movie version)

Sabretooth (Liev Shrieber)

Neo (Lobby Scene)

Parts

Nick Fury;

Head - Got the Octopus HS (need advice painting around the eye area)
Clothing -
Polo neck jumper - got
Black pants - got
Long black coat - got (i'm going with the non-leather look that we've seen more of as of late)
Eyepatch - need this, saw some on ebay, but i got one and didnt like it at all
Black Shoes - on their way
Equipment -
Shoulder Holset - currently being looked into, sent some art off to see if it can be custom made

Sabretooth

Head - need, easy to get though

Clothing -
Long black coat - got the stone cold killers one off ebay, bit of work and it may do
Another black coat - saw some coats on ebay as well that may suffice, if anyone has any ideas, help!
Logg Jacket - no idea where to get this, at all
Shirt - easy enough to get
Pants and Shoes - again, pretty standard stuff, although i think he may wear boots

Equipment -

Erm, Hands? - i saw on the boards some custom made clawed hands, they looked awesome!

Neo

Head - on it's way

Clothing -
Black long sleeve shirt - i really dont like the collar on the ones i've seen on abya, if anyone knows of a really nice quality one, PM me!#
Cargo Pants - easy enough, may need some modding
Boots - on their way!
Glasses - need to do some searching

Equipment - oh my

Harness - contacted Stevo, really like his harness, so that's taken care of
Guns, the list i have is this
4 m9'S (or slight different models of baretta, not a gun expert)
2 MP5K's
2 Scoprion VZ61's

The M9's are fine, the other guns, i'm struggling. i've seen some options but dunno if there are other ways to get hold of them without having to buy a whole set of guns just for one weapon. Twice!!

Well, there's my little list

hopefully i'm on the right track, only been collecting 1/6 figures for a bout 4-5 months, never built a custom

what's weird is that i'm more excited about putting these together than i am about getting my Thor figure! (well, maybe)

any info is much appreciated

Thanks for the responses guys, that gun info is very helpful

So I've gotten back from holiday and some of my parts have arrived

Started to play around a bit and have come up against some obstacles

It's my first kitbash so I really wanna make it look good

I threw the outfit on my Nick Fury, now the jumper needs dying black, but I'm wondering if there's another option, specifically a much thinner jumper

As u can see from the 2 pics, the coat sits better without the jumper on, the only other thing I could think of was cutting the sleeves off of the jumper, but then I'm worried about what to do when I get my holster, I can have his coat off.

Any tips or good jumpers?

The other option is to not use the coat at all and just display him with his jumper and holster, I could use the coat for sabretooth.

Also need longer pants

Ahh, decisions!
