Hello, my name's Adam and somehow got myself into an expensive hobby: building life-size replicas of famous slashers such as Michael Myers and Jason Voorhees. My first replica was Myers and I vowed that I would only build him. Well that quickly changed and I began planning how I could do Jason and others down the line. My replicas utilize a mannequin you might see in a clothing store, along with various pieces to make the piece come to life. Funny enough, I have VERY limited display piece for my 1/1s, so I can't display them properly, they're just propped along my horror room for the time being, shoved into the corner etc.
This thread is going to be used to update any progress I have on my replicas, and at the time of this post, I have two near complete replicas.
Michael Myers (95% complete)
-Inserting Pictures Later-
Jason Voorhees (90% complete)
Any comments or suggestions?

The hockey mask is created by Jon (Zsaszsays) and I touched up the blood around the axe cut because it was too dark and not splattered enough (Sorry bro!). The face mask was created by Paul at Darkside Studio, who also re-painted/fixed the hands I bought from Dapper Cadaver. Fake nail tips were bought cheap from Ebay and painted/modified to look like old rotten nails. I fixed the blood on the face mask because like the hock, it was not splattered to my satisfaction. I also added dirt around mask, and re-painted the lips. I bought the rubber axe head from some online site and completely re-painted it and added blood to the edge. The axe handle (plastic) was removed from a really ****** axe from Rubies and I re-painted the axe handle to look more like wood. I previously attempted to use a real wooden handle but it was still too heavy and compelely destroyed the hands (thus needing repair). Shirt/Pants are Dickies brand and the shoes are some generic work shoes found online for $15 new, all weathered by me. I still have some touching up to do along with filling the shirt (and pants?) more to get Jason's build correct. I guess I'm pretty satisfied with it.
Jason stands roughly 6'1", which is about two inches shorter than my Myers 1/1, which is unfortunately the limitations of these stupid mannequins.
