There are ways and means. CC jumping on the 'Daft Punk being the buzzband right now on the back of Tron Legadcy' bandwagon and DP accepting just surprises me is all.

thank you for the link, but these guys are in a culture where there is not a lot of many to be had (generally speaking) so making a few bucks when they can is not a big deal to me. When it comes to Daft Punk nothing surprises me anymore.

I am just speaking from a hardcore early DP fan perspective, but if I was in their position I can't say i would not accept either.
Sure they got big bucks for it.

And yeah, I don't mind this type of sponsorship... I'm glad that between Adidas, Tron and Coke, Daft Punk is getting the credit and exposure they deserve...

Its funny you say that, i've been a huge fan since day one. I don't blame them though, nobody needs to be "loyal" to anybody or anything unless it benefits you first. Still you gotta give credit to The Prodigy, Chemical Brothers and Crystal Method too
