As a huge fan of the Pin-up style, I can definitely say that I'm gonna really try to pick this statue up!

It's based off the artwork of Dave Stevens and is scheduled to be released in August with a price of $150.

Yea I saw it from Toyfair pics too, I think it will go great with the Rocketeer PF and Helmet.

Now that is tempting, I'm still not getting 100% Bettie from the face sculpt, but it's still 100% her... if that makes any kind of sense?

Well it is an artist's interpretation of an artist's interpretation.

Yeah the face sculpt isn't 100% but like Deckard said it's a person's interpretation of another person's interpretation of her. A little something was bound to get lost in translation.

I agree though, there's no denying that it's 100% Bettie Page. I just really hope the production piece comes out looking very close to the prototype.

That's really nice looking. It looks a little elongated, but it definitely captures Dave Steven's Bettie.



He was such a great illustrator.

got mine preordered, watched the Rocketeer tonite, can't wait for this and the PF.

I think it's gonna be pretty good size too which is nice. It says it's 13" tall and since she's in a seated position that seems like a pretty decent size. BBTS has the weight of it estimated at around 9 pounds, so it looks like it's gonna have some heft too.

Being a Bettie Page fan who recently bought the book, "Bettie Page Rules", along with "Betty Page Confidential" last year, adding this statue will be icing on the cake. I pre-ordered her last month from TFAW for $119.99.
