I like this much more than the bust.
As for the variant, I'm a little torn. I think I like the regular one a little more. It seems like a more plausible story, clearly Mandy was napping while sunbathing on the beach, lol, but the park outfit and base takes some of the attention away from her. Even though the frog is a cute touch.

we ordered the exclusive version, like that one much better... the added details, especially the skirt since that really gives her a better sense of motion
