Diablo 3 laptops

Hi. I just bought Diablo 3 and my old computer sucks. I am looking to buy the cheapest, or just relativly cheap, laptop that can run D3 on ultra settings with the best FPS. I guess I'll go with a PC and not a Mac because of price. Again it doesn't have to be more powerful because I'm just playing D3 on ultra.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. I was thinking about getting one after work at Best Buy. Can't wait to play my Barb next to my Diablo 3 Overthrown barb!

I think you're in the wrong section here, and I can't quite help you, but if I can give you a piece of advice..

Try to go for a desktop unless you really have to get a laptop.

The reason for that is because most mid-end laptops are mediocre while most mid-end desktops can run like high-end laptops. On top of that, laptops are quite a ways more expensive and more prone to losing functionality and needing repair or even replacement.

And on top of that, you have the issue of most air vents being situated at the bottom where you put it on your lap (genius), easy overheating and it burns your legs. Of course you can get something to fix that, but it's still a con.

People need to get it out of their minds that these are "laptops". There is no "gaming" laptop. DO NOT put a gaming notebook on your lap.

Those notebooks you listed will not play Diablo III effectively (if even at all).

You probably have to spend just under $1000, maybe a little less. I'd recommend a laptop that has a 650m GT. A good budget card that performs decent and will give you ultra Diablo III settings at 50 FPS average.

Though I'd really recommend a new desktop unless you really need/desire portability.

Or...if you have a PS3, just wait a little while and play it that way.

Or you know spend the money on building a desktop for a cheaper price than any gaming laptop you will get that can play d3 on ultra. Diablo is actually a somewhat demanding game unlike d2 and WC3. So playing at ultra with good FPS is going to make it difficult to find a cheap laptop to run it.
