When my Conan is done, I'll be working on a Maximus/Gladiator figure.
But thinking ahead, I'd like to do a 1/6 Horatio Caine  (David Caruso in CSI Miami), because let's face it, that dude is just cool :D

Has anyone ever done anything like this? Shouldn't be too difficult: dark blue suit, blue shirt, police badge, gun and of course... the sunglasses of justice!
Only problem would be a decent headsculpt I think.

I too have thought about doing one. I love Horatio. He is overly dramatic and cheesey, but there is something about him that make you just think he is cool. He will always make sure the kids and family are taken care of at the end of the episode, but he isn't afraid to shoot at the bad guys first either. And then Strike "the Pose," the hands on the hips, looking into the distance. :lol

Don't bother asking Andy Bergholtz about making a sculpt. I asked him about that once and he said he just can't stand David Curuso :lol

Yeah, the head, badge, and right looking sunglasses are the hardest parts about this figure.

Put I will say this, I am making a character for the next figure challange that is partially inspired by Horatio :monkey3

I like the character but I will admit he is over the top. Never thought about a Horatio figure but did always want a Gil Grissom from CSI: Las Vegas

I could see Grissom, Horatio, and Mac as sellable figures. Anyone else would probably just pegwarm. To be honest, Horatio is really the only reason I watch Miami, which is my favorite of the three shows. I like Grissom too, especially the miniature killer plot line since that was something I think everyone here thought those little dioramas were cool.

My favorite Horatio moment: (SPOILERS FOLLOW)

Is when is wife got shot and they were in the ambulance on the way to the hospital and the gangster stop them. Horatio gets out, the ambulance pulls way, and Horatio takes the gangsters out like a good old fashion Western showdown. :lol I then love it when one of the guys is still alive and reaching for his gun, and H just walks over and shoots him without aiming. That scene :rock because it was SO over-the-top.

And this season, when the guy with the vaporizer gun was going to shoot him, Horatio just takes him out and the two other guys that were just loading cargo :lol

I'd definately love a 1:6 scale Horatio, heck, I'd even settle for a McFarlane/NECA type figure of him (two actually, one with hands on hips and the other shooting).

In 392 BC someone in Greece tried to make it. But they died in the process when the marble rolled back on them, crushing their skull, so it doesn't count.

I think you will be the first EVER.

kinda off topic but am I the only one that laughs when I watch David Caruso as Deputy Mitch in Rambo: First Blood Part 1

Wow, a lot of mixed feelings about Caine :lol Didn't know he was so (un)popular, hehe.

Anyway, I'll start looking for a sculptor who can make a Horatio headsculpt for me, and I'll keep you lovers and haters informed :D
