Did SS Exclusives Stop For Hot Toys ?

I was just wondering why there wasn't anymore Sideshow Exclusives coming with any of the New Hot Toys Figures ? Did they just stop doing it ? I came late to the game (about a year and a half ago ) and i missed out on alotta great figures , and figures that were sideshow ex .

I own the Terminator Salvation T-600 EX Rubber Skin version and the Wolf Cleaner Ex .


I was wondering if anyone had a list of all the figures that had the EX option to it ?


The Terminator 2 line = No EX
The Dark Knight line = No EX
Predators line = no Ex


Seems like the last time they did it was for the Terminator Salvation Line


Anyone with info i would appreciate it

The Sideshow Exclusives were just the exclusives that Hot Toys already had for their Toy Hunters store. Sideshow doesn't have any say in what Hot Toys makes.

They did have a joint exclusive with HT on the Mark II and the Mark VI but those are also had in their store as well.

So Hot Toys just randomly picks what figure they want to have an EX version?

Yep. Its all HT's choice. If its a Toy Hunters exclusive. Thankfully, aside from the 10th Anniversay exclusives, they have let Sideshow carry them as exclusives as well. Latest one is the Mark VI Iron Man. So we are due for another one soon I would think.

The upcoming Bruce Lee also has an exclusive which is an extra muscle body.

Yeah, you wouldn't want them to do that for the 89 Batman since Sidehow can't carry Batman due to DCD.

I was right, woohoo, still sucks though that Marvel gets awesome collectibles while most of DC sucks, but im more of a marvel fanboy anyways.

holy sheet really????? a whole body for the EX , thats insane , they should do that for all there figures that you can make multiple versions of

a convention exclusive, but guardian predator was also a sideshow exclusive.

Aside from the 10th Anniversary exclusives, Sideshow does get to distribute HT's convention exclusives at SDCC.

I think there was another Asia exclusive Predator, but yeah, those seem to be exceptions to the rule.

As for Bruce Lee, that is a great deal with the Ex., particularly (to me) because it is a completely different body from what you get with the figure (not battle damaged) and won't be released anywhere else as of this figure's release.

They're gonna start milking that body once additional Lee figures are released, methinks, but in the short run, I figure that Ex. body will go for some serious scratch.
