Diorama Help/ Suggestions

Hello Fellow Freaks,

So next semester at school i talked my professor into allowing me to take an independent study in sculpting/design in making Dioramas. I have 3 that I am going to do; a table sized judgement day diorama(about 5 1/2 feet x 3 1/2 feet), TDK interrogation scene and the last either being from Predator 1 or Resident Evil 5 all of course in 1/6th scale to go with the Hot Toys figures however i have a mental image of how the finished product will look like but do not know where to get the items to make it work such as balsa wood, 1/6 model cars, stuff to make the floor out of or things to use as a base. So if any customizer can help me out i would greatly appreciate it.

Along with the great customizers here, you may want to check out https://www.onesixthwarriors.com/forum/ - You will need to join this forum to see the following 3 Tutorials (from Arbomambo, Tony Barton and Egonzinc), but worth it for the pics and info.

There are more members there that do some dios and may be able to help out as well.

Try a local hobby town USA. Thats where I get most of my stuff. Not too sure how many are around you but the one here has some great stuff if you need me to pick anything up for you.

Styrene and foamboard are good in addition to stuff you mention.
