Hey gang,

So yesterday was my birthday and the Cap PF exclusive I recently bought came in, what a way to celebrate!
I own about 15 other sideshow pieces but this is my first mixed media one. When I unpacked Cap to see how he looked, I had to gently roll off a little debris from the cloth parts of his costume. Then it got me concerned if I should be displaying a piece like this without being in an acrylic case or curio? My other statues over the course of a few months get a little bit of dust on them naturally, but they are all 100% polystone, they can be dusted off. My concern is with dust getting on the cloth parts and being a disaster to clean off.

What do the other Cap owners have for this topic?

Thanks!

The best way to display a PF is ofcourse in a displaycase but i should not worry too much if i were you. Keep it away from heat and out of sunlight and you should be having a longlasting statue

mine at this time is displayed in the open, dust isn't that big of deal since it all blows off. i am planning on making a proper inclosed display eventually though.

cap is great and red skull is a great companion, but while your at it get the cap/skull dio. they make a great display imo.

Yeah I owned Red Skull before I purchased Cap, so Im stoked, but I want to display them properly.

Wookie, can you give me more info about the shelving type you are using in the photo?

Most pre-fab units will house Comiquettes, but I own the Classic IM also as you do, and we know thats a TALL piece!

Believe me, that thing is braced in their really, really tight, it isn't going anywhere!

:lol I can imagine. Beautiful shield BTW. I've been wanting to get one of those for awhile, just haven't been able to keep money in my pocket long enough to do so!
