Because it would really suck if they do.
I didn't order Gollum PF while it was still in stock just because of the Non Refundable deposit and now that it's a waitlist item, and I try to get on the wait list, seems the cancellation fee also applies.
Are Cancellation Fees different from Non Refundable deposits? Do you get penalized twice if you preorder and item and then cancel, loosing you're NRD and cancellation fee penalty?
That just seems crazy to me. Expect less business from myself if this is the case.
This is the message I get when trying to place and order on a waitlist item.
Are cancellation Fees new? I've never had to agree to that before. I guess we can no longer say "you can always cancel later." I understand why you're making the change, but it's just something that we've gotten comfortable with. So now if we order, we better start a budget, because there's no backing out without taking a decent hit to the wallet.
I'm just not feeling the changes that I'm seeing. But it's your company and my opinion matters little and I'm sure there is some sound fiscal reasoning for all the new rules and restrictions.
