I know we've had a thread like this before and there were mixed feelings about it. If this thread dies so be it, but I must rant about this. This is ridiculous. STEEL had listed a DX Batman in the sales thread and asked for an offer. Others referee him to the rules but I made an offer. He accepted and since we both live in NJ we had agreed to meet up on Sunday in the middle and exchange. This was all on yesterday 03/25 then this morning comes and he says oh can we do it today. Sundays wont work and I need the money today. So I say sure let me get the money and ill send it today. He had promised me $175 for the figure pick up and wanted to make sure the price was the same, and he had also promised me picture. I waited and waited but no response so I tried to call him and he sent me to voice mail. Only 2 rings and cm kicked in. Next thing I know he sent me a pm saying oh someone gave me an offer and paid for it sorry.

That is ridiculous!! No answers to my previous question, which would have lead to me sending payment immediately, no warning that someone else was ready to buy, and no nothing! What professionalism!!

I know there was another thread about a seller doing this same exact thing to another member. Don't remember if it was this same seller or not, but these kinds of practices need to stop. Either tell the buyer "oh I have another offer and he an pay now can you?" Or tell him he needs to pay now or he can't buy it. Don't sell it out from under him.

I've sold many things on forums and if I needed to sell something fast I either put first come first serve in my thread or I let the person know, hey someone else is interested when can you pay? And if I'm OK with that then I hold it until then. If not I tell him. Communication is key.

That's my rant. Stay away from this seller. He's unprofessional and who knows if you'll get your item. He may sell it to someone else.

Who knows... maybe he just saved me from a oil faucet DX Batman.

THANKS STEEL

That is not the thing to do :(
Sorry to hear that but Dude... you might as well wait for the DCD batch. You will either get a resolved bat for just a tad more or if you still prefer the leaky one then you can get those for a lot less! Worse case the problem is not resolved and you will still likely pay less than $175.

Originally it was suppose to be a pick up (said this yesterday) hen his morning he said oh can't meet up on Sundays. Can you send it today? I said OK but are we still doing $175. Then next PM I for was sorry someone else sent payment already. So sorry.

Sorry to hear that dude.

Be sure to post in the feedback forum, so that way we know in the future. Your story sucks, but I'm not sure I'll specifically remember the name "steel" in connection to this, should he happen to try selling something else 6 months down the road, for instance.

Can I do that? Can I really leave negative feedback for him?? Technically the transaction never went down. It started but it never was completed. If so I will leave him negative feedback. This is ridiculous.

At the very least, I'm fairly certain you can leave neutral feedback. You could try negative though, I'm not sure about the details.

Also, the fact that you planned to meet up face-to-face means you probably have a right to more expectations - presumably you cleared your schedule to meet with him, which already cost you something.

If you aren't out any money, then "no" you can't leave negative. But you can leave neutral and explain why.

OK thanks guys. I left neutral feedback for STEEL. And seeing as how he hasn't responded at all he knows what he did was wrong. Hope he can rectify this some how.

IMHO anyone who would do this to you in the first place is probably not thinking about rectifying the situation.

San I like you avatar Yip Man :rock and I hope the 2nd one is a good. Too bad I can't find the Bruce Lee series in English. Oh, yeah on the subject dude at least you still have your money.

Id like to think he did you a favor....dont worry about it, you'll find another one real soon....He probably got $5 more than what was agreed on.

Probably. That's probably why he sold it out from under me. He was greedy. Now he has a bad rep on the board. I'd like to know who bought it and see if it was a leaky one. No hard feelings against the buyer of course.

No problem. Just don't want anyone else here to be screwed by this seller. There is a highly probable chance that his figure is leaking. And lets just say that I am glad I got screwed over here. Both STEEL and JohnnyR tried selling their figure claiming it was not leaking. Check the DX02 leaking thread and you see that JohnnyR was lying about the figure. Now STEEL comes along and tries to claim that his figure isn't leaking either. Lets just say that out of the two I know for a fact now that ONE of them was lying, and I'm not talking about JohnnyR. Not that I'm saying JohnnyR wasn't lying. Just saying that I dont know that for a fact. Thank god I didn't buy it from STEEL.
