Do you still get your sideshow points if you do an exchange?

OK well, I looked at the Black Cat statue once again, the white paint on the suit was annoying, but it looks like some of the white paint is coming off onto the suit by the boots. I went thru 2 exchanges with Black Panther. I've ordered roughly 15-20 pieces from Sideshow. I dont know if I should just paint over it myself, but Im afraid of making it worse. Some of the black paint came off onto the qtip I used to wipe off the white paint... Its frustrating.

If I go thru the exchange process again will I lose the points ? Im not sure if I lost them for Black Panther. So far, I've had a red shash for Psylocke sent to me as a replacement because the other had a crack, Black Panther body *2, and now a Black Cat body. Is it just me of am I being too picky? Ill take pictures. It does looks off... and annoying.

Of course. I've never lost points doing an exchange.

You get them, you just have to wait longer for them to acquire. Sometimes I've had to call SS to remind them to apply my points, because for some reason they didn't update after I did an exchange.

can I get a show of hands. How often do you guys go thru the exchange process. I really dont want to but I dont want a flawed statue. It seems like a waste to go thru the trouble of destroying it and having another one sent.. I really wish I was "luckier".

I hope theres nothing wrong with Nightcrawler and She-Hulk... or the Thor and Wolverine busts..

I've never gone through it. Some of my statues have flaws here and there but it's stuff I can live with.

I purchased my first two SS pieces this month and both had paint flaws. One I might not even be able to get back, because its been out of stock for some time now. It's def frustrating, especially when there is a possibility you won't get your statue back. I'm considering just returning both for a refund to avoid the frustration... If I were you I would just send it back for another one if it really bothers you, nothing more frustrating than having to touch up a new piece you just payed $300+ for. So I guess my point is that if you plan to buy SS, you should expect to deal with the exchange process often.
