I recently bought a 1:4 scale Alien Queen Maquette second hand.
Her teeth are silver which doesn't look the same as the official pictures.
Do you think this is a MOD or can anyone tell me if there were variants for this piece??.....Ta very much !!

the pictures may be just darker or maybe there were two variants for the piece as you said.
The same thing happened with the 1:1 T-800 Arnie bust.
They released two types. Anyway , maybe it would be best to contact sideshow direct or request some pics from peoples collection and see if theres a difference then.

Hi,yes it's all very much "up together"....The teeth just look differen't.
I got it for a fair price but thats not the point...do you know what I mean?!?

There were not variants to this peice so it might be a mod.

not completely different. One was shinier on the endo part of the face , had different pain apps on the human face and had a smaller eye as well.

The teeth ought to be translucid but I don't think this is a mod. If it is, then it's one of the best I've ever seen.
Anyway, it looks amazing so no, you haven't been had!

The rest seems to be all in order so I'm wondering if maybe somebody before me broke a few teeth,tried to fix'em and realised that transluscent plastic wouldn't repair so well and coated the teeth in silver paint?? Anyway at least it matches the fingernails!!
