Again, last of these polls for a while not to annoy, but hey - good to get it out there. :)

I tried to be somewhat merciless here, thinking of those companions I'd only be VERY motivated to buy at a $200+ price point. So it'd be Sarah Jane, K9 and Romana II.

I'd love Leela and Ace as well, but they'd be lower priorities.

K-9, Ace, Sara Jane (Hand of Fear, preferably), and Leela.

You want her in her Andy Pandy outfit?!?! :D
Although it's sort of 70's-tastic, I like her first appearance clothing because she looks very reporter-like:

But her Planet of Evil look is cool, too. I must admit. Sarah is one of those characters (being my favorite companion ever) where I'd buy mulitple of her, even if it was a Classic version and a New Series version.

K-9 or Kamelion but I did not see him in the poll so I voted for K-9.

Oh, I love the design of Kamelion! I just can't imagine a ton of people shelling out the dough for it.

Haven't watched much of the clasic ones except the 4th doctor series, but I'd love Leela and definitely Sarah Jane Smith. The new series introduced me to her and found her quite endearing.

Well, unlike the others these were all SOMEday, not 2014/2015. :) I'm torn, because I'd love to see some key companions... but the thought of BCS stopping before they got to all the Doctors is pretty heartbreaking, too. I just had to go through that with Titan's Doctor Who bust line.

Other than K-9, I don't think I'd buy any to be honest. Certainly not yet. I'd far rather they concentrate on getting all the Doctors done first. Then they can focus on other stuff, like companions, variant Doctors, and the like.

Mind you, there are some that would be quite tempting. The Brig and Jack Harkness I think would be able to be done quite well in the scale and have suitable outfits that would look good. Plus as Jack had his own show, and The Brig appeared opposite most versions of The Doctor in one way or another, that would only add to the temptation for me.

But a lot of the, particularly female, companions have a degree of exposed skin in their most memorable looks, which never looks good on 1:6 scale figures in my view, as they tend to look a bit 'auton' and not very realistic. So some of my favourite companions, like Jamie and Leea, I just don't think would look that great as 1:6 figures. If Big Chief would like to prove me wrong they are welcome to try though.

I'd still rather see all the Doctors done first though.

Went with Sarah Jane, K9, Leela and Ace. Sarah Jane is a must. Young or older version.
Overalls works for young SJ.

K9. That's it. Signature edition with John Leeson. Three versions - Classic (in grey), NuWho (sparkly blue) and a convention exclusive rusty.

Everything else on that list is commercial suicide.

I only voted K9. I also want a SJ Smith, a Leela, Romana #1 and maybe even a Jo Grant, but I am not convinced BC can pull off a female figure.

Yeah, I'm excited/frightened to see their next female figure. I kind of almost hope it's Clara, that way they can perfect it even further before getting to SJS.

Add me to the K-9 only brigade, I'm afraid. Easy to do, shouldn't be too expensive overall, and signature edition, as suggested, would make a no brainer limited edition version as well.

Female figures are difficult enough at the best of times, let alone ones that would be visibly sporting 'doll arms' and/or 'doll legs'. Right now I can't see how they could possibly make a character like Leela, with all of her exposed skin, without her looking like a barbie doll with a custom head. Even if they custom cast the arms and legs and then painted them, they're still going to have visible articulation all over the place, which might put a lot of people off anyway (unless they go the rubber skin route, which is expensive, and has it's own share of unique problems).

Maybe one day when Big Chief are more secure as a company and looking to branch out, and can afford to take a risk, but right now they're better focussing on the Doctors and other such easier victories (K-9, Daleks, etc) in my view.
