Mr. Finch fom SCHOOL REUNION (hair resculpt and repaint of SS Giles figure). I painted him to look a bit sickly, like he was just about to transform.

My finally finished Morbius custom for Vikki, made out of Apoxie built up over a body. The claw opens and closes, as does the dome so the brain can be "tinkered" with. :)

This next one is still a Work in Progress because I need to make his black belt with lion head ornament and finish painting his hands, but it's a very off-model, more leonine looking Tharil (ala Warriors Gate), inspired by the lion man Thun from the old Flash Gordon cartoons.

Warriors Gate is one of my favorite Who stories and I've ordered a S18 Tom from Billy B, so I wanted my Fouth Doc to have some company by the time he eventually gets here. I'm liking this Tharil alot.

Supreme work WTS, I love the Yeti, I've not seen the episode but damn it's nice. Your Trout is dead on. Beautiful work

Another WIP I have going on right now is this Rutan for Vikki. It's a little off model and horrored up. I have a clear green ball filled with a bloody 1:6 skeleton, like the Rutan absorbed it to replicate him or ate him, floating inside it (in Nickolodeon slime). I have it underlit so it glows. I just needs a much taller glass stand than the one it has here and some tendrils to grab its victims. :)

A Rutan? Now that's some creative customzing. Makes me want to watch Horror of Fang Rock again.

I'm not very focused custom wise and reaaaally bounce around alot , so I actually have a lot of different custom projects in various stages of completion (which I hate about myself). Here's a Draconian I really need to get back to with Mr Barlow's Pertwee head looming in the horizon. One's blurry as hell. Sorry.

Stop making me feel lazy..........:lol

Rick, truely awesome work, bro. Most impressive. :clap I've never watched an ep of Dr. Who but I can stall appreciate how nice these are. I wish I could pain, I tried and don't know if it's for me. I'm good at stands, so I'm mostly sticking to that. But who knows, maybe I'm not out of the fight yet painting wise. Never was a quitter. ;)

Thanks buddy!

Well, let me say this about painting, and it helps cause obviously I know you are into horror and monsters--- painting people is tough. I think it's real tough. Painting is usually a mixture of colors, not just the main one. Painting people still messes me up cause I really have to mess around with the hues. Painting monsters and aliens however is fun as hell. You can experiment and have fun with them, and it's totally different than painting humans. If you paint a human's skin wrong its obvious. If you paint a vampires skin too dark it's called a "creative decision" (laugh). There is no wrong.

So don't write all of painting off cause the humans are going slow. Once you get how to mix hues a bit, on a monster or whatever, it also helps you get it a bit more with the humans. Obviously I'm still learning too there, but I hope that helps, man. :)

And even if in the end painting really isn't for you, maybe you'll kick ass at weathering clothes, or making dioramas, or even scupting. You don't need to be a Mr Barlow level of skill to be a knucklehead and have fun just defacing unwanted figures you have and making them into really horrific zombies! :) :) :)

Let me tell you, there's too many things too learn with this hobby (laugh). :)

Yeah thats valid points, bro. Maybe I should give monsters a shot. I'm a perfectionist so when I fail an attempt I get frustrated and lose focus. I need to learn the fun parts of painting.:lol Great point, there is SO many things you can do in this hobby:)

Rick how does that go........ Welcome to my nightmare I think you'll like it !I think you're gonna feel you belong! You guy are knocking out such great customs that I feel like I am lacking in the collecting department. Makes a guy wish he was neighbors with you and all the other custom talent on here. Would save on all the shipping charges anyway.
Great work man.

Thanks Faith and Jay!

Jay,
I know what you mean. Creative synergy is an awesome thing. If I write, my wife feels like writing. If she sculpts after ages of not sculpting, I suddenly feel like sculpting. Being close to other Who customizers would be a blast!

To be fair about the amount of customs you've put out if you feel "lacking", exactly how long does each scarf take you make? And you've made a lOT now for a lot of people. That's an insane amount of micro-work you've done. And the detail work on your TARDIS is sick! I only look like I've just pumped out a lot because most of that lot has been accumulating around for eight months or so (laugh---goan).

What particular eras were you interested in making, BTW?
