Dead, same as a lot of their Star Wars previews. This line was really something about 6 years ago. Sadly it’s about a 2 figures a year line now.

So sad because I would have bought this Grievous in a heartbeat. Ugh.

I've gotten tons of Figuarts and they aren't really flimsy. I bet they would've put diecast in the legs to support it or something.

Have they been known to use diecast before? I had 6 Battle Droids when I used to collect them and they were all floppy as hell that I ended up just using them them as the dead droids on the ground and used the Hasbro versions for the standing ones.

It's a shame Grievous went into figuarts oblivion, but if you want a figure that scaled properly and accurate I'd suggest the Bandai model kit. Some parts are fragile and needs a little paint for details and weathering but it'll look amazing in your collection!

Here it is compared with the Hasbro version, it's night and day differences.

I also got a ton of figuarts. I have Obi wan Ep2 and EP3, Anakin EP3, Mace Windu, Luke Skywalker, Darth Maul and Han Solo. I also got custom painted heads for my Obi Wan and Anakin that were shrunken down hot toys.

I want to say K2-So has diecast. Many of their Iron mans have some diecast and their Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles had diecast lower legs.

Shame he never released. I went pretty much all in with this line, which led to me going for Black Series to fill in the gaps. They made some really damn good figures.

Really sad what this line became. Even more sad that prototypes like Queen Amidala never made it to production.

I try not to buy from this scale, but it must be difficult for the premium 6"-7" figure market.

The figures felt more reasonable when prices were lower, but now two or three of those can get into Hot Toys pricing territory.

There's also Bandai kits which offer great value for what you get, even though character selection is limited.

And for other characters, while Hasbro is doing a poor job at managing their lines, Photo Real was a game changer. BS6" prices keep going up too, but seems like it gets harder to justify the pricier 1/12 scale offerings when you've got options above and below.
