Does SideShow Ever Release Statues Early?

I was wondering that because the Obi Wan Kenobi Star Wars Mythos statue was expected to be released in January. However, yesterday the status in my orders changed to "Item shipping soon" which means it will ship within 72 hours. Wonder if it's a mistake or do they ever ship statues early. Thx.

IMO.... Way too early! The paint app was a huge disappointment.
