Wow is right! I never thought one would go from that much. I remember reading all the negative comments about this piece, and now look it.

You'll find one, Quad. Don't worry. I highly doubt that this price is the new plateau.

negative comments about doom lsb? it is one of their best ones. the removable mask was awesome. too bad i lost interest with busts or i would still have it.

WTF?!!! I picked up one from Ill Jedi about a year ago and paid $200, looked at it, thought it was just okay, haven't set it up or thought much about it since. The only negative was that I'll's dog peed on the shipper box. I will eventually set him up when I can sell some LOTR stuff to make room. But all of the sudden, I like him a lot more.

What can I say, I was not going to lose this auction. I've said it before if you want something bad enough. You have to be willing to set the benchmark. Now if this going to be the going price no I don't think so, but I was not going to wait any longer for another exclusive to pop back up. I was trying to get the Juggernaut as well, but someone beat me with a bid of $910. Damn that person if they are a member in this board...LOL The good thing is that me and the seller are in CA., so I will not have to wait. Should be here tomorrow.

well, congrats on the purchase man. yes auctions only take 2 people to push the price up. every piece out there that is a low es or hard to find has the chance to spike every now and then.

i already have the reg version and it is a really great piece imo.

I am intrigued by the Cap LSB, but when I started the collection a few months ago, it was already sold out. Plus I don't have any Cap statues to display with him, but what am I talking about, I don't have a Doom statue to display with him. Looks like I just found something else to hunt down. Doom PF Ex. I know if I get a Cap then I will have to hunt down a Cap PF Ex. It's a never ending cycle.

Its just a matter of time before all the other Marvel LSB will go up in price specially when their edition size is very low, ...can't say the same about the Galactus though..

Not to mention the paint quality of these things are so good. Out of all my LSB's I have yet to see any thing wrong with the overall quality of these bust. The Galactus LSB, is just to big for me and I don't like him that much anyways.

I just picked up the Doom LSB and while I love I gotta say once you put the mask on you damage the peice because its such a tight fit it scratches both the mask and the inside of the hood

couldn't agree more this stupid hobby is very addicting.
these little busts are a great bang for the buck imo. well at least original retail that is.
get on the WL for the cap, i'd pretty much bet on it that it'll convert for ya once notices start going out.

i'm thinking that down the road, most of these ex. version low es's in the 100-150 range will start to rise.
it's already starting with the IM's es of 450, yellow DD, doom, and i'm sure to follow others with lower es.
even venom at 400 might spike if or when his movie comes out.
