Download Manager: Jdownloader help

Hey all - have version 0.9.581 (latest) to help with my downloads - speeds have been really slow, so I've heard of this program, got it downloaded and am totally and utterly lost -

Tried to find a help guide based on current one, but to no avail....

Shouldnt be this hard.....
