the muppets suppose to be made from fabrics, the figure looks like it's made of clay.

That is the review I was waiting for. They dont look too bad, however the size is indeed pretty small. On the other hand you can easily add dioramas and accessoires from other DST lines to the display and you will have a nice match (Gothams Edward Nigmas desk comes to my mind for example). However do you really need any nonrelated accessoires?
Overhere a complete set will cost me 65+35+19% tax, so roughly 120 USD (cheapest from BBTS, maybe I will find a seller in UK). With that much, I am almost thinking about purchasing the Palisades. However the DST line does have alot of potential and with their idea of offering sets you will habe a nice lot pretty fast.
I am really not sure what to do now. :lol Decisions... :lol

Anyway, thanks alot for a very helpful and great review. :duff

Edit: you may think about adding a "where to get" for Europeans as another sponsor possibility. I would sure use it. Especially Muppets is a pain to find here.

Nice review. Being a big Muppets fan myself who has the bulk of the classic Palisades characters, I was initially pretty excited for these. But looking at their size and the paint slop makes me think twice, given the price. I can't believe that Kermit's about half the size of Palisades Swedish Chef! Kind of neat o think they could display well with GI Joes, but. . .

If the price were cut in half, though, I would buy the hell out of them for my kids.

IMO nothing can touch the look, feel and quality of the Palisades line. The attention to detail was amazing! Especially the playsets!

Pretty disspointed in these. I don't mind the articulation, but the paint (Kermit's eyes bother me to no end) and size/price are putting me off for sure. I still have all my Palisades stuff in detolfs. Pretty much the only line I've held onto.

Usually we are are the same page in your reviews, Michael but wow... these figures are truly horrible. I was really looking forward to these but when I saw them in the store and was floored how badly they were both sculpted AND painted. Kermit is by far the worst of the offenders. And they come in these HUGE boxes... a total waste of space for those keeping them mint in package.

My advice... save your money and, if you haven't already, buy the FAR superior Palisades line on eBay.

Yup,The DST Muppets don't even come close to the Palisades Muppets line (One of the Many great toy lines made in the Decade). While I am picking up the DST
Muppets, there is no comparison to Palisades. That said,it is nice that these are different enough to collect them again

I own both lines now and think to look at palisades wins but for fun factor the select figures win hands down in my opinion

How is one more fun than the other? I have both and Palisades still wins

Maybe because there is articulation with the DST figures.

Palisades have articulation too, better sculpts, better paint apps. Figures Having Marvel Legends articulation does not mean better :)

You mean in your opinions they win, just like I have one too!
I get a lot of people's love in with the palisades line. I love them too, I just think I prefer the select figures that's all.
