Hi guys.
I'm fairly new to this hobby (Dec 2009) and have a question to you guys that have had items on display longer then me.

Is dust a problem? Im asking those of you who dont have them displayed behind glass doors. I'm most concerned about those with clothing, but also my Endos since all of the detail on them make them very hard to dust safely.

I'm a little worried about dust on clothing too. I mean to get a display cabinet soon but at the moment the few figures I have are out in the open. For clothing it seems like blowing/wiping the dust off isn't going to be enough. I'm imagining some of the dust is going to always remain and there build up to dirty and darken the material. Is that really something to worry about?

I've also heard that dust contains grease that when it lands on the clothing it will transfer to the surface :/

Dust is a pretty big problem in my display area unfortunately. I try to dust at least once a week and I use a horse hair paintbrush. The bristles are very soft and it works well on Polystone/Cold Cast Porcelain, PVC and the clothing on PF's, which are the materials I have in my collection.

I have and use a full set of make up brushes for mine. Nice and soft ones.
I got a set that has all shapes and sizes of the brushes and rolls into a nice small bundle. All the different sizes come in handy for the various sized statues and stuff.
x :peace

Actually I have to rotate them since i dont have space for them all, so maybe this is not a problem for me. When i rotate them I can give them a good workover..

Make up brushes are the best.
