Bob and Weave looks nice,hope it`s as good as Fight Night`s smooth bob and weave movement.

Curious how this game will be,there are so many techniques they need to perfect.
THQ's UFC game is good but not great,standup sucks but the clinch/ground game is pretty good.

Really? So I take it you've never played any EA basketball or baseball games?

Cause they sure do suck.

I have a feeling this game will be decent. Not enough to buy it for 60 bucks, but when it hits 30-40, it would be a good buy.

Ive tried their basketball games,but not baseball as it doesn't interest me.Their Fifa Soccer,Fight Night,NHL and Madden are all great,EA Sports never dissappoints with their sports games i play.

Anyone bother trying the demo on LIVE or PSN?? I'm sitting down with it right now.

I have tried the demo as well,so far it's alright.With a different button system there is alot to learn.Took me a while to master the UFC game as well.

I like it. Played it a couple more times and really like the controls. Very easy to pick up, and deep enough for people to master complex fighting techniques. I also skimmed through some of the online features.

I will probably get this for Xmas. The way I view this game...excellent for people that aren't happy with the UFC game, and it's a great supplement for the people that have the UFC game and want to play as the Strickforce fighters that aren't available in UFC's roster (Fedor, Werdum, Cung Le, Jason Miller).

This game BOMBED big time at retail. It's been out since October and it's still sold less copies to date worldwide (for both XBox360 AND PS3) than UFC Undisputed 2010 on just the Xbox360, just in America, in just the first week of its release.

Terrible.

Blame it on Fedor. I didn't see much advertising for either game so I'm not really surprised MMA didn't sell very well. I haven't read any of the reviews, but I have to wonder if it was just UFC's hype that killed this game. Either way, I'm going to get it. Not sure if it's sitting under the tree or not, but if it sold really poorly it should be really cheap on Amazon sooner or later.

The game didn't do well at retail but just about anyone who has played it has agreed that the game is better in terms of controls then UFC 2010 was. Its all about Brand Power, UFC has the recognition that the EA game just didn't get. EA has already said they will be back with a squeal its just a matter of when. Hopefully they can get some bigger names to help push the next one.

The grappling system is better on the UFC game,i don't know what it is but i got tired of the MMA game pretty fast,to me it feels like a beat em up game,just swing away and you will knock him out.If you're on the ground and try to kick you opponent away to get up yourself 3 times after eachother you will be gassed,the stamina system is terrible,so is the dodging system.

What i really miss in both the UFC and MMA game is the reach advantage,you can't move outside and use your reach to keep your opponent away,which really sucks.
