Do you mean like using PayPal in a transaction off of eBay?
Well here is the situation. I have some one interested in one of my items that ended and now they want to buy it off of ebay. To me, I can't really see a problem on the sellers side but I wanted to be sure before I made my move. IF anything, it's the buyer that needs to be more worried when purchasing some thing from a stranger without ebay's protection.

Oh, okay then. Have you checked their eBay feedback? If it is high, then chances are you won't have a problem.

I do it all the time. I have buyers that missed bidding on an auction for some reason or another and they ask if I can sell one to them now, off ebay. And your right, the buyer is the one that is taking the chance really.

I haven't had any issues selling to people like that. It's really not much different than a transaction that takes place between a board member.

I wouldn't be worried as a seller, the buyer however really doesn't have much protection; at least not with eBay.

I have an ebay question. Is there a way to put cash in your paypal account instead of just using a credit card?

Why would you need to, you can link it to your debit/checking wouldn't that have the same effect?

In the past I've had problems with identity theft. I like the idea of putting $50 in there for a $50 purchase. I might be paranoid but I sleep better.

Oh I see, hmmm, I have never heard anyone doing that before. Give them a call.
