ebay seller problem!

I have buy some stuff from a american ebay seller. I pay for the item for 1 month ago and have not recive anything yet. I have contact the seller and ask him for a recipt when him shiping but him say that him have him own shiping company so him not have any recipt. I have look at the ebay feedback and this month him have many negative. I cant se why him have bad feedback because it is hide now`. Is it to late to contact Pay Pal or what should I do?

Escalated the claim, 20 MINUTES LATER the guy emails me back pleading to cancel the claim. Finally get a tracking number and all seems sweet and rosy again. Short story long, escalate his ass!

Yeah, Totally agree, its amazing how an escalated claim can suddenly bring about a tracking number!!

Him say that the packet have been send with Surface mail but I still think him must have got a shiping number on the recipt. I think if I wat to long it is to late to claim with pay pal and I will lose all money. this is ebay name ajm9136
Him have many bad feedback this month something wrong and now him change to private listing.

He may have racked up 25 negatives only month ago, but damn it, he already had like 7 negatives 6-12 months ago. And I'd never bid on a seller with private feedback? Private? Come on, wtf...

If you're lucky you get the entire amount of money back. If you're a bit lucky, you'll get part of it back. If you're not lucky, you don't get anything back. I've been scammed in the past as well, and started a claim with Paypal. By the time everything was clear, according to Paypal the amount of money on the guy's bank account was no longer sufficient to give me a full refund, so I lost about $ 60.
