eBay to accept PayPal only

It seems that eBay has gone over the edge. They will no longer allow payments to be made by check or MO, only PayPal or your own credit card with few exceptions.

could've seen this coming since ebay owns paypal, i mean they might as well lock it up and complete the monopoly right.

anyways how in the hell are they going to be able to police this, they can't even look after what they're suppose to be doing right now.

I sold quite a few things last week and had money orders in as an acceptable form of payment. As soon as I submitted the auction they had a pop up that said they would remove auctions allowing money orders as forms of payment. It sucks they are pretty much the only way to go if you want to sell something....

I think I heard this a while back, but yeah, that's bad. It's funny that ebay acts like it doesn't own paypal--it is just out to get more money. I like how fast it is to use, and that it allows me to pay regular people with my credit card--but they don't offer enough protection for sellers and they charge you twice with ebay and paypal fees.

This is exactly why I stopped buying and selling on ebay, it was so much better in the late 90's and early 00's. They keep changing everything for the worse. Most of the times companies that do this have gotten to big for their own good and now have to make up bullshat policies and procedures just to hold on to that last bit of the good life they have enjoyed for the past 10 years. They in the end will have to downsize considerably or just close up shop which we all know will never happen. I have a feeling 2 years from now we won't even recognize the ebay we used to love.

Sooo, when will it dawn on everyone that ebay is borked and it will soon become too expensive for a normal guy to sell?

just got my payment invoice for a HT pred i sold on there -£17 it sold for £270 but still lame.

ebay and paypal suck all together.
There at breaking point here , another comany might take their throne soon.
I have had too many problems with them , now that we can order the hot toys stuff from Joe on here I actually wouldn't mind ebay shutting down as long as I still recieved my pre- orders.
