ELPIDIA CARRILLO is attending CollectorMania in the UK in May. I dont think she has done a con before but her sig will be added to my Predator one sheet along with Carl Weathers, Sonny Landham and Richard Chaves.

After I've met her I'll post back here with a report. Haven't got a clue what to ask her yet though. Any suggestions?

I'll probably ask about her involvment in Predator 2. Also if she has been asked about making an (cameo) appearence in another Predators movie.

For me it would be worth it, yes as I'm a dedicated fan. Predator is my favourite film for the last 14 yrs. Plus I'm trying to get more sigs on my poster which I have proudly framed already. Plus there's other things I could find at the con. Travelling neednt be that expensive so long as I make the right plans early enough. Its a once in a lifetime opportunity to meet one of the stars of my favourite movie EVER.

Do you think a 1/6 HT action figure of the Predator is worth £135 (or whatever it was upon release)?

The Hot Toys predator is going for around $350-400 I believe now. Very cool on this opportunity. I'd be definitely curious to see what she looks like after all these years!

I met her yesterday. Nice lady.

I asked her about the scenes she shot for P2 and she said they were done but cut from the film just like imdb says. She was oferred other Hollywood roles but turned them down cos she didnt wanna be stuck in that kinda genre I guess. She said working on Salvador with Oliver Stone was "really special". She also turned down toy and video games companies for wanting to use her likeness etc. She had no idea the film would be so big but still every now meets people saying, "Oh you're the Predator girl!" It was her first con.

She looks great all this time later. Still recognisable and still attractive, not fat or anything. She signed my poster, "Nicky. Elpidia. Gracias por el amor. Te querio mucho mucho." I asked her to write something special to me in her own language and that it would be a nice surprise for me to Google the translation later.

No idea why her scene was cut from P2, it was basically her showing men the destruction the bomb made at the end of P1 on video survellence.
