LOOOOVE the base and the fact that Eowyn is wearing the helm.. however.. what is goin gon with the ML's Mace? Is he just holding the end of it? Where is his left arm? Is it just out of view? I love the idea and most of the execution, but it still doesn't wash well with me. The face that we don't see the ML from the other side REALLY limits the greatness of this statue. Such a shame that no matter how you re-create this scene, you are going to lose something. Hence the reason i have (sadly) chosen to display them seperately.

I thought about taking the helmet off the base, but I thought it wouldn't fit. I even tried to squeeze Eowyn's head while the helmet was still attached to the base. If it does fit I'm getting a razor and putting it on her.

I would imagine he did some chipping and adjusting to the shape of Eowyns head.. maybe removing some of the hair. I don't see how the statue would fit on otherwise... so if you're comfortable doing that.... party on wayne

That is awesome! I would have much preferred if Sideshow had made Eowyn with her helmet on so she could be displayed with the WK. This custom proved that it would have looked perfect.

Hmmm.....I like it alot but on the other hand, there's some things I dont like.
But the base is great though. The bloody axe, the severed fingers...great stuff!! And I really wonder how he got the spiked ball to stay up there! Remember, the chain on this thing is as loose as a shoestring. Nice work!

Wow, I like! And I'm very surprised at how much more I like the Eowyn statue with the helm on...
