Excalibur

Any interest in Mordred (Gold Plated Warrior) from the John Boorman's Excalibur? I always liked detail of the armor worn by this character and felt it would translate well to a figure.

Mordred is the one I am mainly interested in, but there are many characters to choose from, though the property is probably of fairly limited interest.

This is easily one of my favorite movies... although can't really say I'd want a Mordred

I would love a replica of Excalibur.

Definitely an awesome movie, and by far the best of the King Arthur movies. Although I can't say there are any characters I'd really want from the film.

This is my all time favourite fantasy movie, absolute classic. Though I can't see any figures coming from this, one that I would like to see would be Merlin. And yes definately a prop replica of the sword as well.

I would buy a PF of any of the knights, or Morded from this classic movie. Such an awesome film for it's time..

I have the resin of him in the suit sitting on the throne - one of my favorite movies - I'd buy anything they came out with from it.

Definitely agree with all you guys! The best interpretation of the Arthurian legend in my opinion. Classic classic movie! Any collectible coming from this line would be welcomed!

In my top ten for sure. The armours are classic. Even now they hold up. They actually look beter then most of the armours they do for all these updated versions of the legend.

I know, I know so many customs, if I just sat down for a day and sculpted I'd be able to knock one or 2 off, the cuirass I pretty much have, the skirt would be done the same way as tigris, the helmet would be fun, the only headache would be th arms/ head sculpt. Maybe start an interest thread....mmmm but I need to work on Thulsa....

The armor would be an issue but would love to see these characters. Several years ago there was a couple of garage kits from Jayco. Modred on the throne sculpted by Wayne "the Dane" Hansen and Merlin sculpted by Joy and Tom Studios. Some great actors in that movie who are currently popular including Patrick Stewart, Liam Neeson and Helen Mirren.

just doesn't seem to be enough interest in the license. it's a ridiculously fantastic movie with great characters and insanely awesome designs! one of my top 5 wishes in regards to getting a high quality high end product from! i would lose my mind if HT got a hold of this license.

Well Excalibur does have armor, but it isn't Ironman armor so doubt that Hot Toys would give this a second thought. Customs are likely the only way you will ever see this happen. Even then we better hope whoever takes it on really loves the characters, because this would not be a volume money maker for anyone.
