You might want to consider opening it up because Sideshow has a 30 days policy in return/exchange. If something is broken inside within the time period, then you're still in luck. Otherwise, you'll have a damage statue that is worthless.

That's for buyer's remorse. I've had SS replace damaged items months after I bought them. Their customer service is second to none.

Well you better buy mine before they run out. I always offer to break the seal and inspect the contents to anyone who wants to buy. I leave that decision to the buyer because some like to be the first to open it.

I got a Captain from good ole Khev and had him remain it sealed until it came to me, no probs there I think it all depends on the piece and if there hasn't been many reports of something goin wrong with the piece... Thor has remained safe for the majority...

Some pieces I would worry abt: GR Comm, Red Skull or if any left sealed SIMs

yeah, maybe the only thing i've heard of is his bigger nipple, but i don't know if that was one isolated statue or if it's happened more that once.

The packaging hasn't been so much the issue as the items leaving China already with defects.

Thanks Skiman. I'd still prefer a 1986 Hawk over Duke, I just think Duke makes the most sense to release next.

unless you need the $$, or require to free up some storage space, i would hold onto this guy, they're sure to increase in $$$ soon than later. IMO


or maybe list it on the bay for like $599 buy it now, someone should bite with the discount even at 25% (which is where i hear it's at now) and it should cover all of your extra costs.

it's the purchaser that gets the refund. if you list an item for say $600 with buy it now. then the purchaser (from the states only) and purchase your item and get 25% off the purchase price (as long as they use live search to find you item) just make sure that you list in your description that anyone using live search can save up to 30% if they purchase with the buy it now price. it's up to the purchaser to do all the correct steps, and then they get the money back in 90 days(i think).

it's just a gimmick that microsoft is doing to get people to use their search engine, instead of say google or yahoo etc.

as for how long this promotion lasts??? along with that the % discount varies also from 10-30%, so right now is a good time to list, since it's up at 25% right now.
