There are sometimes I would like to order 2 exclusives but I can't due to the 1 per customer policy. This kind of sucks especially when it come in-stock. Why is that?

Case in point is the Emma Frost LSB. I bought the reg & EX. I wanted a third one but when I called SSC, I was told no! I don't sell statues but when I am a big fan of this particular statue or character. It would be awesome to have another one (so I can display it in different areas of my house... office, bedroom & TV room). I don't see why customers can't order multiple EX especially when it comes in-stock.:lecture

It is so that more people can have them and to prevent buying up the stock to sell at premium prices by a few. Just because you wouldn't doesn't mean there are enough people who would follow that. I understand the reason, even if sometimes I wish it were different as well! :)

What Elendil says. If you really just want to display multiples, go sans nameplate.

One thing that did bug me a bit was Hot Toys doing exclusives that have 2 display options while we were only able to buy one (no regular option). But I blame Hot Toys for that. Those kinds of figures should not be exclusives IMO.

Well, since they take paypal now for in-stock items, its not that difficult to paypal a 'friend' and have them order it. You'd just need to pay double shipping (to them and then them to you). And whoever orders it for you just gets some extra reward points. Seems a fair enough deal to me :dunno

yeah it's kind annoying, i can understand why they did it, otherwise some flipper can just come in and buy up the whole edition of a hot item.

i think a happy medium is to limit 1 order per customer, then if after 2 weeks and the item is still in stock, allow 2 order per customer, after another 2 weeks allow 3 order per customer, etc..

Back in the good ol days u where allowed to order 2 ex so I don't know why SSC can't do it especially when it becomes in-stock item.0

I agree. Once an item hits in-stock they should allow more purchases. But for preorders and waitlists, I don't think thats fair.

yep..... usually if a piece is in stock, you can find the exc for around the same price (if it is mandatory) sometimes cheaper depending on how long it stays in stock for...ex sabretooth ex pf you can find cheaper than retail for awhile, not sure about now though.
