I’ve read and watched the interviews Matalas has done. He approached them with the idea of sending the crew off in a proper fashion.

Kurtzman was working on the Man Who Fell to Earth, a project he has been wanting to do for a long while, when Picard was also being worked on.

Perhaps tone down your “you’re making things up” and ask politely next time.

The fact is you have no idea where the development of these shows aligned with one another chronologically and what Kurtzman’s involvement was with the development of Picard Season 3…if you share a source that demonstrates that Kurtzman had no involvement with Picard Season 3 because he was too busy, I will offer you a very polite apology right here in this thread…I’ll wait.

Maybe some forum members are just really exhausted with reading some of their fellow members’ constant complaints about “nu Trek” and aggressively attacking the tastes of others. If you don’t like Star Trek you should just stop watching it…I hate Brussel Sprouts but I don’t walk up and down the aisles of my local grocery store yelling at everyone about how much I hate them.

Filming of Picard Season 3 coincided with Picard Season 2 and was begun February 16 2021 but the bill was filmed between then and March 8 2022

Kurtzman was show runner and EP on Man who fell to Earth. He was busy making that show the best it could be. Matalas was running and in charge of Picard Season 3. Not sure why you can’t believe what multiple sources can confirm

Also in the link provided is a quote from Kurtzman where he says he was against bringing the legacy characters back at first. Matalas convinced him.

Now I’ll be waiting for that apology but I expect it won’t come.

I provided links that show the production information and reference links. It’s evident you didn’t bother to look. So why are you still carrying on?

The dates show overlapping productions. He’s a show runner on another show so it’s obvious he’s going to concentrate on the one he’s more responsible for.

You’ve already said I didn’t know when the productions were. I proved that false.

You said there’s no proof that Kurtzman or the higher ups didn’t decide to use the legacy characters. I’ve already showed the quote where he said he was against bringing the legacy characters back, which was a point you demanded. So I proved that false too.

Now we are here with you moving goal posts asking me to provide yet another link. You are debating in bad faith. You have no intention of accepting facts, and you have no intention of apologizing or you would have by now.

There's a timeframe (July) on that Odo promo from the newsletter at the end of May. Nanjin also said something about TNG Data going up on Tuesday.

Yeh Data should be Tuesday, that was in relation to what thedarkknight said about the email teasing Pike a couple of weeks again.

Looking forward to Data being officially announced, part of me wishes it was Picard as I’d have 4 of the 5 “core” figures I need for my collection but he and Kirk from TOS will arrive when they are good and ready.
