I'm buying him because it'll be the only Maroon Sulu there is.

I bought it to put TMP Kirk's head on it. I'm tired of Nanjin jerking us around on TWOK figures. I know it's not an Admiral, but close enough.

Didn’t he tell everyone Kirk TWOK will be out ? ( in 2029 LOL)

TWOK Kirk will end up having 3 looks : Maroon jacket, Expedition jacket and the waistcoat. I might have to buy 3.
Bones is similar : Maroon jacket, Expedition jacket and the medical tunic.

I am not anal about mixing a TUC Sulu with the TWOK figures. But I am concerned about getting it in the anus financially if I buy so many Star Trek figures.

I'm probably going to pass. Certainly not pre-ordering him. I don't see him selling out anytime soon.

No, and there's been no indications it will come with the waistcoat. He wears it for a good amount of time in the movie though, so it would make sense to include it.
