Kind of meh. I enjoyed it way back then, and I've enjoyed the sequels. They're decent games, a bit disappointing, but fun in their own right. Depending on what this "remake" actually entails, as far as gameplay upgrades, I might be down.

Even though I'd rather have them develop a new game that's of better quality than the last few, I'm quite happy since the original Fable was great. My main problem with the second installment was that they didn't include any pissed off bosses like in the first. It was just way too easy... And the 'final battle' in the second one was a disaster....

Everytime I try to be hopeful about a Fable game. i listen to all of Peter's promises and I buy into the hype. Then I get it and feel so let down. The first was ok, the second was an improvement, but still flawed. The third is an abomination, and the very mention of it makes my blood boil. Not sure how i feel about this.

Wish I could get remakes of the games I really want: Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic and Final Fantasy VII.

I remember back when Peter Molyneux really sold this game as the second coming of Christ, and everyone just lapped it up. It was going to be revolutionary, he said, and they said. Turned out not to be quite as great, but hey, I can make fart noises and bystanders laugh at them.

Life lesson I learned from Fable: I can be awful to my wife, cheat on her with another lady, but I can fart and make everything better again. Farts heal all emotional wounds.

Basically agreed. I liked 2 the best, by far. Not perfect, but I still had a lot of fun with it. 3 basically made everything in the game a chore.

Probably add a dog and let you hold hands with NPCs. Oh and multiplayer.

I enjoyed Fable. I felt Molyneux just ran his mouth too much and set lofty expectations for what really was a decent game. He caused the letdown. If he didn't say so much we could've ignored that you can do more in the Sims with human interactions than you could in Fable.

That trailer was meh. A simple announcement would've sufficed until they felt ready to create a video centered around gameplay or what new things are being added.

I'm lucky, I never saw any stuff on Fable before the release so I wasn't disappointed. It's still one of my favorite memories regarding that time of my life ^_^
