Looks like Nintendo is getting my money with Bayonetta 2 and this one. Been itching to play a new Project Zero/Fatal Frame and I really enjoyed Project Zero 2 on the Wii so I'm definitely looking forward to this.

It looks awesome! It appears to be closer to the creepy, haunting atmosphere of Fatal Frame 1 and 2 that made both such great games. I lost interest in the Fatal Frame series after Fatal Frame 3. I felt that Fatal Frame 3 was trying too hard to tie all three games together. I preferred having each story stand on its own.

It's just a bit sad that this series is a Wii-exclusive. I don't like the Wii at all. So whilst I wouldn't buy it, I'm still looking forward to seeing more of it.

So glad they're localizing this. Still have no idea why Nintendo didn't localize Fatal Frame IV on the Wii.

Speaking of Fatal Frame, I watched the live-action movie and it literally has nothing to do with the Camera Obscura or "killing" ghosts. No survival horror either. Not a bad movie, just not a Fatal Frame movie.

Fatal Frame 5 is coming to Europe on 30th of Oct 2015. You can buy it as a digital copy from the Nintendo EShop or a physical Limited Edition copy. The LE copy comes with a copy of the game in its standalone packaging, a double-sided poster, an art book, four Spirit Photographs, and a SteelBook cover. I don't own a WiiU but I preordered it anyways for the LE items.

Unfortunately, North America is only getting the digital copy on the 22th of Oct 2015 (a week before Europe).
