Favorite one outta 3(gotta go with number 1 liked it so much totally my vision of PP...and i'm a sucker for origin storys)

2.SM3
3.SM2

I voted for one too, 2 was good and equal to 1 in my opinion, but I liked Goblin a little more than Ock so I gave that one the lead. I'll have to see 3 another time or two and wait awhile before I decide how I feel it stacks up to others.

Gonna go with 3 I think with SM1 very close behind. I didn't think SM2 was as good as it could have been.

Spider-man 2 is one of the finest comic-themed films, and S1 wasn't all that bad either ...

then there's S3.

1 - my favorite by far. It's the only one I've come out of the theater feeling completely satisfied with, and I can still pop in the dvd and have a blast watching it.

3 - Great humor and fun villains. Yeah, Pete's new hairdo was corny, and Sandman's storyline went nowhere, but there's a lot more good than bad.

2 - Least favorite. Seeing Otto Octavius as a warm, affable guy, and then sacrificing himself at the end was just sickening.

"I will not die a monster." :monkey4

1 - my favorite. i liked everything xcept green goblin's costume.

2 - a really great continuation of the story. Doc Ock's look, origin and confrontations with Spidey were better than Goblin's. The threat to the city bigger. Confessing to Aunt May, struggling with his choice to be Spiderman/losing powers, MJ choosing Peter - good stuff that makes me overlook the crap like his unmasking on the train.

3 - fun, but by far the weakest of the three. Sandman was a complete waste, He seemed to me far more tacked on and less important to the overall story than Venom was. They tried to make him more than just a 2 dimensional excuse for cgi wonderment with the daughter & uncle Ben stuff and failed, only ending up with a muddy to non-existent character arc. They should've cut him out and given the screen time to black suit origins, Pete's inner struggle & romance with Gwen and of course Brock/Venom. Should've tied the symbiote origin into JJ's astronaut son's trip to space instead of the lame meteorite landing right in front of Peter. Pete storing the hostile symbiote in his trunk made no sense. They get a second chance to design a BA Goblin costume and this Xtreme skyboarding, sword wielding thing is what they come up with? Instead of MJ in a thin dress in the rain or wind we get not 1 but 2 crappy songs. Ugh, and the butler speech, those crappy newscasters and the "wicked cool" kid?! Still, the action was good esp the first fight, it was very funny, and great to see the black suit stuff on the screen.

#1 simply because it was the origin story but I enjoyed the S2 just as much.

To quote LOTRfan "then there's S3".

SM1 .. can't beat the story and the orgin explaination.

SM2.. I think they found a good villian and made a movie that worked.

SM3.. even though I loved the story... 3 vilains ruined it, and Venom was terrible. GG2 was the best villian in this film.

MJ sucks in all three!

I agree there where probably too many vilians and they could have done more with Sandman. I just don't think SM2 was that good as far as this trilogy goes. It was the worst of the three for me by FAR.

I voted Spiderman 2 as my favorite.
Then comes Spiderman 1 and then Spiderman 3
I liked the three movies, but what did not convinced me too much, was the fact of making this movie with 2 villains. I think that those 2 characters deserved one movie each.
Imagine Spiderman 1 if it had have a 2nd villain, surely the Green Goblin should loose importance. So, I think Venom is a character that deserved the same importance as the Green Goblin had, and the same importance to Sandman as Octopus had.
Of course there is the other way… a 3 hour movie :D (yes… I know:rolleyes: )
What makes me worry now, is the fact that they could commit the same error in Spiderman 4 (if they want to do that) and put the Lizard and Carnage together  .

1. 2nd love it when he falls on the car "O my back, my back!"
2. The Origin this might actually tie with 2 for me also

3. 3

I'm struggling because personally I think all three Spidey films were great but I'm not a big Doc Ock fan so was less excited about number 2.

I was really excited about the first film, because it was the first and because I love the Green Goblin he's one of my faves.

But I was also really excited about the third film because Sandman and Venom are my other joint favourite villains.

In the end I've gone with the third film as my favourite, but there really wasnt much between the two of them.

It's a big tie for me between 1 and 2 (loved 3, but I think they tried to jam too much into a small amount of time) but 2 always entertains me more, Rami's style clearly sticks out more. 1, well rocked mainly due to DaFoes awesomeness, but 2 will always get me more pumped.

Too much happening on SM3 so I take points off for it. The best part of SM3 for me, believe it or not, was when Peter was strutting down the street dancing like an idiot. I liked the movie but it's funny that's the most memorable scene to me.

I loved the SM2 choreography of the fight by the subway train. It was straight out of a comic book. Even better on the 2.1 DVD. I think that gets a lot of points in my book. Everything else regarding the story for the trilogy has been a compromise (in different degrees) for the sake of the big screen when compared to the comics. Even if it's good for what it is (it's own thing). The subway train fight made up for it. Spidey swinging all over the place, throwing hostages in the hair and saving them with a web safety net, the way he moved in the train...straight out of a comic.

It makes SM2 my favorite so far. SM3 was good but the choreography wasn't there. It was more CGI heavy than creative. The first Harry sequence was good but not great. Nothing we had not seen before. Besides, Venom should be able to sneak up on Spidey but not Harry. Come on now.

As far as SM fight scenes go the Doc Oc vs. Spidey on the train is definitely the best. :rock

SM3 didn't even come close to that in any of the scenes that put Spidey against his foes.:monkey2

I agree, that part was great, I don't see how it's NOT likeable, loosen up.

I gotta go with SM1. I just love the scenes where he is begining to discover his power too much to vote otherwise. Those scenes are just classic.

Spidey 2 all the way. GREAT movie with some classic scenes.

Part 1 is a close second.

Part 3 is way below both 1 and 2. I really wish the whole movie was just about the black suit. We needed more!

OH well.

Crap? I'm a self-admited sucker for sappiness, so my viewpoint is probably not with the status-quo, but that's my favorite scene.

I think it's pretty important too, it really has an Alex Ross feel to it, something he'd throw into the comic. It's kinda showing what the city's real feelings on Spidey are, and showing his true heart, he nearly friggin' died for loads of people he didn't know, and we've seen ti before, but this showed it in a much more close up and personal way.
