I so wish we could get an extra pauldron to make it another Remake Cloud, but I'm happy they're at least giving us this second chance to get the body at all.

Wonder why only the body is going up for order? Are the 3 different arm sets coming later?

Because only the body and Arm Set A are going up for pre-order.

The rest of the arms (B &C ) are still in stock on Taobao, which means there are still plenty available. It is up to the individual sellers to bring them in as required.

I just go using online platform like facebook or Instagram to 3D print the Shoulder Pauldron.

has anyone gotten indigo stains on their first class soldier cloud? both my arms have some stain on the inside and so does the body itself
a little worried if we swap out for seamless arms will they stain too?

Not had any staining. Only issue with my Cloud so far is the glue deteriorating.

Yep, have it on the rubber chest, inner regular arms it came with and now minor light staining on the silicone arns by the socket.

Gametoys must be re-using that unwashed fabric they used for Zack. Not a single Zack was released without major stains. They're hidden behind clothes, but it's still a shame it's there. Luckily they took note and haven't had any issues with AC Cloud and stains. I haven't found any yet on either of mine. I hope for future Noctis and Tifa releases that they use proper or washed fabrics to avoid staining. Especially for Tifa.

Upon opening. I was already greeted with issues.​

Second issue; one leg couldn’t move sideways. In had to strip the pants to check if something stuck in the leg joint, since trying to force it sounds like something would break (sorry about the crappy video). Any help to get this fix would be really appreciated.​

The strap can just be super glued on into the recess, with regards to the legs not sure, maybe it's not put properly in or just needs to be pulled off since it's a ball socket joint and then pushed back in.

Any advice for removing the clothes from the Remake / 1st Class Cloud body? I can't figure it out lol, how do you get the waistband off - over his head or down over his legs?

Edit; I figured it out, it was a lot more involved than I expected!

For anyone else planning a pauldron swap, ya have to partially disassemble the body by pulling the silicone cover off and removing three screws from the upper body. Then the belt can slip off, put the new one on and reassemble the body, then slip the shirt through the belt.

Not sure I got the pants on properly tho - feel like the zip ain't closed enough.

Also worth noting; the harness has changed from the Remake to First Class, the little magnet / materia attachment point is a new shape, so you can't use the materia anchor to put it on the Remake harness.

Not him but; push the shoulder straps out of the way, slip the shirt off and just pop the chest off (it’s only a ball joint).

Thanks both for your guidance! I managed to make the conversion easily.

I swapped the new GT006D body, clothes as well as the bandages, armbands & hands over to the old GT002 body.

I feel this modification makes the GT002 much more accurate to how Cloud looks in Remake & Rebirth renders.

The colour of the uniform is much darker than the previous blue. It has better articulation and the upgraded headsculpt over the original release.

If GameToys were to re-release the OG Cloud, this would be it.

Only thing I couldn’t change is the ‘Fenrir’, but it’s minor, I could probably mould something in putty, pop the Fenrir earring off and then put the correct design earring on, but I'll leave that for another day unless someone doesn't mind 3D printing it out, that would be much easier!

FYI - For anyone also wanting to try this modification, the bandage is just held on with a small glue mark at the end, if you pull it off, the rest just unravels on the new silicone arms. I just put a small dot of 'white tack' on the end to close it back up on the new arm so it's not permanent, but still holds well.

I also chose to use the articulated arms since I'm still a bit funny with silicone.

Thanks very much! I’ll give it a try when my Cloud body arrives. Did anyone have fabric bleeding issues with the AC clothing or was this mostly contained to the Zack/1st class fabrics?
