Cool, thanks for the heads up! I'll definitely pick it up, very affordable.

I've already had a look through that at my local comics shop. It does look very nice. lot's of great info, photo's and 4 new short stories.

If I can get it cheap enough then I'm seriously considering a purchase

How are the comics anyway? They kind of struck me as something only a Firefly fan who REAAALLY craved more could enjoy.

Meaning, not that good.

I like them, they don't cost much though so it's not something to miss.

Last I heard the Shepard comic book would be out later this year, I think they said November or something.

I just read them for the first time within the last 6 months, but I don't recall too much about them at this point. My impression was that "Those Left Behind" was pretty strong, though bringing back the agent from the 1st episode was an iffy choice. "Better Days" had good character moments, but I recall the action didn't work for me and the plot was a little clunky.

I think they had always planned to bring back the alliance officer from the first episode sometime in the series, so if the show had continued he would have shown up again anyways.

They've waited too long. Most of the cast have steady shows, and Joss Whedon has quite enough stuff to keep him busy for a while

Yeah, I have a feeling that the only hope would be a complete 'reboot', aka BSG, but that would still be years off and no one may take the 'risk' anyway.

No one would do that

Although I wouldn't mind a new series in the same universe with different characters--to try and broaden things. Since honestly--the universe there isn't nearly as interesting as the characters and the ship in Firefly.
