hi, hav a question for international customers from sideshow who bought the hot toys classic predator EX,
i was charged 47.81$ plus 10$ as pack out charges, i find this strange because i was charged only 40$ for both my hot toys batman begins and shadow predator exclusives
did anyone too get charged more for classic predator, when i asked sideshow they replied it was charged based on dimensions, i do find that funny

I Got My Tax Form on Friday and Got Charged £31.68 with £10 hangling fee,s - so £41.68 in total.. if they charged you in dollers you,ve got a good deal ;)

i paid around 47$ in customs too extra apart from the shipping charges of 57.81$

thats cool, i was charged 20$ each for batman begins and shadow pred too, so cant understand why i was charged 58$ for this one alone, as it stand i received mine on Saturday,it was packed out in a bigger box but there was no outer hot toys brown shipper box and item was opened, somehow i feel cheated ,not sure, if i was send this on purpose and charged double shipping charge to cover the shipping fees if i asked for a replacement , feeling angry and disappointed i had asked for a pack out at additional 10$ to receive it in mint, sadly it looked it had been sitting on someones table for days, edges all blunted and covered with dust, couldn't find any fault with the item though excpet for the boxes

Shipping from Sideshow to Belgium for a Hot Toys Fig:

* shipping = 25 USD
* customs = approx 40 €'s (depending on invoice price)

25$ seems fine, but i was charged around 57$ including pack out for shipping to India while 2 hot toys were send in a single shipment last time for just 40$ including pack out, thats what baffles me, and top of it i received it without the hot toys shipper box , and the box was open, though item wasnt damaged,it looked liked a used or returned box to me, and i just feel like sideshow charged me around double the normal charge so they could cover the shipping cost if i asked for a replacement,it sucks because i paid nearly 105 $ for shipping and customs.i know my theory sounds far out but thats they way my mind is working now :(, like the whole world is against me

How is that possible?
I recently had the exclusive Arnie T2 polystone statue and it cost $20.00 shipping and i got a tax form from fed ex and it was only for £17.50.

Does the hot toys stuff come via royal mail?

A the have a set price ,i got a model kit from USA the kit was $100.00/£60.00 than royal mail wanted £55.00/$90.00 and on the form it had £40.00 tax and £15.00 for next day special delivery?

I think it is all down to the company they use .

It depends on who you buy from.

Fed Ex charge you VAT and then £10 fee.
Royal Mail charge £8 fee and Parcelforce charge £13.50.

If you are buying from China or japan and choose EMS shipping it will be sent via Parcelforce so be warned of the £13.50 charge.

both times fedex was the carrier,
batman begins and shadow pred combined cost 40$ plus 150$ customs
classic pred cost 58$ plus 48 $ customs,
shipping charges includes additional 10$ for pack out

ok, sideshow refunded me 28$(10$ pack out cos customs opened it and damaged the box anyways) today , so total shipping came to 30$. but i still am left with a item not mint and without the brown shipper which the customs tossed away

Their CS is ace, no doubt. But sometimes they act lame too! Like in Dhaval's case!

Cheers,
Neo.
