Super Freak
Wanted to share a project I have been working on that I wanted to be able to offer to any of the Lebowski fans out there. Some of you that already know me, know that Design and Print is my specialty and I have an arsenal of professional grade equipment to back up the ideas.
I decided my Dude fig needed this album so after doing some research and image gathering started working digitally to clean up, and re-create the album as accurately as I could. I laid out the artwork in die-line form complete with fold tabs. I also laid out some artwork for the record.
My printer is able to be set up to do custom die-cutting, which is what I used for this project. What that means is these pieces are machine cut, not by hand with an exacto knife.
All folds are kiss cut from the reverse side. What this means is along the seams you will see a nice, clean fold, and not a slit into the print itself.
Each sleeve is secured shut with rambo adhesive tape and the record is removable. I will eventually offer a plastic record once I have my 3D printer, which ships around June. For now I went with a print of the record and when displayed looks great IMO.
I built this prototype and am open to doing a few sets over the weekend before moving onto my next project.
Finished sets are $35 shipped in the U.S. or $36 outside.
If you are on a tighter budget, I can sell you the contour cut, pieces which you will need to score, fold and adhere yourself. If you want this option it is $30 U.S., or $31 outside.
PM me with any questions you may have, but if you want to just place an order directly, no need to confirm it with me, just send payment with your board name and address included. Prefer gift payments or buyer picking up the fee.
