Nothing is worse than USPS....they will open up your package and play with whats inside..has happened twice to me...I had a Ringwrath on Steed that was NIB..I opened it to inspect and put it right back in and shipped it..the receiver got it and there was animal hair all over it, pieces broken off and not in the box. Also had an iron man helmet..same deal...buyer gets it and there is a huge dent on the side with huge scratches all over it.

FedEx is my favorite carrier. I have Sideshow using them exclusively for me. Not only do I ALWAYS get my packages the day after they are sent, but if I am not at my house, my FedEx driver calls me on the cell phone and meets me to hand off the package on my way home from work.

No problems with UPS or USPS but FedEx sucks and DHL is a joke.

Agree with EF... Fed Ex is the ____s.

:lecture

Actually, Fed Ex was the worst at my previous place, but at my current house, I've had no issues with any carrier. . .apart from UPS constantly leaving my Sideshow packages without having anyone home to sign for them. Since the chances of packages getting stolen are so low now, though, it really doesn't bother me.

Totally agree.... except that I've had good luck with DHL. They actually call me when delivering a package and I've just been able to meet up with them if I'm not home.

But with FedEx, packages are always at least a day late and its a headache trying to coordinate with them.

Here in Brisbane its the other way around. USPS is slow and pathetic while FedEx are incredibly fast and safe. I used to use USPS all the time when I shopped on eBay but nowadays I order everything through SS and so far I havn't looked back.

Delivery companies work like all others, the "brand name" of say UPS or FedEx is only a franchise like association and your customer service experience is going to be based upon whatever individuals happen to handle or deliver your package. I have had good and bad experiences with both UPS and FedEx as well as the USPS. I don't see any pattern from my experiences but for whatever reason I prefer UPS when I can use them...
