I just want to tell all UK/European Freaks to avoid Pre-ordering form this website.
I had a Indiana Jones Premium format on Pre-Order over 6 months ago.
I got an Email 3 days ago telling me they have discontinued the item and cancelled my order.
I have sent 2 Emails of complaint and have not even been sent back an apology.
It looks like I will have to try somewhere else. I can't order form Sideshow because VAT and delivery costs makes the item £60 more expensive.

I'm so angry that some websites claim that they can get you an Item and then let you down months later when the item is hard to get.

Sorry to read this, totally out of order.
I too was ready to order the very same item but it dissapeared off of the FP website last month never to be seen again. Its still listed in their current catalogue, however.
No excuse for lack of notification - I will heed your warning.

Just go via Play.com instead, though I have to say that i have ordered from FP many, many times and never had a problem...as you say maybe pre-ordering is where probs may arise! Good luck in your search!

There are a lot of factors that could be in play - perhaps they didn't get their full allocation from Sideshow - perhaps they didn't pay their bills.

But this store/website has been in business a long time - it may not be fair to judge them from one transaction with one person.

i think alot of it is the amount of pieces that ss alocates for each dealer.
i know for a fact that my lcs orders lots of items from them and many times the get less than 1/2 of what they order.

sideshow will always look after consumer orders first since they make more money doing so.
they have always been a more retail company than a wholesale.

this has happened to me before. seems they take a lot of preorders without fully knowing how many they'll actually get. they did this to me with the Anakin SDCC exclusive 12" and they sent me this email the week everyone else seemed to be posting their pics.

Suddenly for us U.K freaks who haven't been lucky enough to buy Indy, it has now officially become a GRAIL

I have a Rocky HOt Toys from them and my Predator Dio
But before I got my Dio they sent me an email that I had lost out on that also.
When I phoned up to find out what had happend, they told me they had sent my order to there London store by accident. By luck, they had not sold it so they sent it to me. Not so lucky this time around though.

They've been good for me when I've ordered, quick shipping and well packed and these were with signed books.

Possibly due to the pound taking a hammering just meant they couldn't afford to do the item at these prices.

But I know what it's like I'm still dealing with GameStop in the U.S. most useless bunch of idiots I've ever had the displeasure of dealing with.
