Can we get some natural lit pics of Galactus maquette? It appears he has silver overspray around his eyes similar to the recent Ultron PF. Im pretty sure I was not the only one that didn't like the orange overspray on Ultron. IMO, it ruined the look of him when displayed in a natural lit room. Are you able to verify with the development team about this and maybe change it by not having the silver overspray? I Understand why you guys did it but it doesn't need it. The last thing you guys want is massive returns on this. Please rethink it for the customers point of view.

Much appreciated ~ VS

PS. If there is no silver overspray around Galactus eyes, please disregard this post then :peace

Ok added pic taking from SDCC.. Please SSC, paint it without the overspray! It looks horrific!

I'm not sure if this is a 'glowing effect' but PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE remove it from the final paint.

Can someone photoshop without the silver overspray and do a comparison? I bet a lot people will choose the non overspray eyes over the current one.

Please, Sideshow, stop with the overspray. It does not look good.
If you want a lit-up effect then just make it actually light up.

Ok everybody relax lol great maquette and sideshow always does such a great job! This piece is awesome, I do have to admit it does look better without the over spray but then again this piece looks great either way. I would love to actually have a light up feature but we can't have everything, imagine the price with a light up feature!!!!! It's perfect keep up the good work!!

I don't think Jedah or I are asking for light up feature. I am wanting to see natural lit pics of Galactus with what appears to be silver paint overspray. I don't want to spend $900 on a statue that had the same paint application effect as Ultron. It did not look good & I was extremely disappointed with it.

:lecture!!!!!

Agreed, overspray is diminishing a perfect statue. Sideshow, if you did not add light-up feature for eyes, then why pretend?:dunno This statue has everything going for it; size, detail, great colors, great pose.....etc

Please Sideshow, kill the cheap, gimmicky paint apps, as you've done your job extremely well with this statue, & it needs nothing else! :wave

name 1 time, just ONCE, sideshow made a change to the statue due to a thread posted here, or anywhere on the forums.

they dont care.

I disagree. SSC has made changes before. People first pointed out the Blackcat LSB eyes were the wrong color. They changed it from blue to green afterwards.

The g.i.joe 12" Firefly had the wrong color mask and SSC corrected the color scheme.

The Thanos Comiquette infinity gauntlet originally did not have light up feature. It was added way after when people were unhappy about it.

There are probably other changes when people pointed out the mistakes & changes. This can be changed. Im hoping they will listen to the customers input again.

holy ____. I critical thread with every post presented with adult-level tact. .. so far ...
.. and I agree. Remove the painted glow= :clap

I'm not getting this piece, mainly because I'm not a fan of the character at all. But, I do agree the odd overspray around the eyes does make it look pretty cheap. It's actually one of the first things I noticed when the piece went up for PO.
