The TLC show Geek Love returns as a web series. There have been three episodes so far, which are linked in the article.

I was cringing so many times while watching this show even during the old episodes, but it's good and unlike Beauty and the Geek (another guilty pleasure of mine) this seems less made up reality show setup and straight up real especially with the speed dating scenes. But yeah the outcome is not really happy for most of the contestants.

And some may feel this is not good for the portrayal of geeks and that it makes fun of them. But I don't really see these geeks being mocked at, in fact I am always rooting for all these people. The speed dating host does makes some quips about geeks when he is addressing them, but it's all in good spirit and everyone gets that.

I don't know what a person who is not into geeky stuff will take away from all this. Some who are into their own geeky obsessions, even might find some of these contestants weird for different reasons, there is no way around it.

What a great show! Good on them all for giving it a go.I'm lucky enough to have a GF who doesn't care again me having my collectibles on display while not really being too into geeky stuff herself she's fine with me being into it.

Episode 4 is online. Some people don't know who Jimmy Olsen is and some don't know about Superman!! See that's another reason why we need a Superman origin film. But considering how many were apparently interested in him and they put him on their list, Jimmy was being way too picky to begin with.

LOL Jimmy is one of my best friends, The show edited him kind of picky but i thought it was funny, hes a really talented guy he enjoyed his time on the show.

Ha..nice, also he definitely seemed cool and smart. And by the looks of it even that tall girl appeared to have a good rapport with him during their talk. So are you Steve featured as the friend earlier on the show? Also digged Jimmy's collection and room setup.

But I guess we will continue to see more geeks returning from that con without a geek date. Still it's fun to see fellow geeks talking about things they are passionate about and hoping someone connects with them who understands that, if not necessarily share the same interests.

When this video was posted on Facebook, right off that thumbnail image I knew I recognized Mary, she was one of my favourites when she was featured on Geek Love back in 2011.

Except for last week's episode (Nydia), we got follow up from all geeks in the previous episodes. Here is hoping the follow up segment comes back next week.
